Caper's Curry JH NA AXJ OF is our 'princess'. She loves to flop upside down in
our laps for a tummy rub but in the field she turns into the most intense
hunter we've ever seen!
We selected
Curry as 'Pick of the Litter' from a breeding between Caper and Willow Magnum
Dalton based on her sweet personality, birdy puppy behavior, and bidability.
She has not disappointed in her field drive and intensity and the magic ability
to morph back to snuggly princess in the house. She loves to train and, after
puppies we’ll put her back in the show ring to complete her championship as
well as focus on obedience, rally, agility and tracking. She can do it all!
Curry’s first,
and probably only litter, due in September 2009 has been planned to give us a
puppy with Curry's wonderful characteristics.. Papa is CH Reilloc’s Sir
Mackenzie JH (Mickey), a local dog with strong lines in the show ring and in
the field. Curry’s album also has puppy photos, working photos and video
snippets.

Our vizslas have worked with, played with, lived with, and gently tolerated a wide variety of other species, including humans! The Friends and Family Album contains photos of many of our special vizslas along with Mickey, the stud for Curry's September 2009 litter and other two legged and four legged friends.

Basalt Bluffs Copper Caper JH CD RN OA AXJ OF came to us
from the midwest in a breeding with FC AFC Raany SH and Burr Oaks Kiss Me Kate..
As a tiny puppy he 'worked the crowd' at the airport terminal in Chicago until everyone had to have a snuzzle from the happy vizsla baby. He didn't make a peep under the seat the whole long trip home!
Caper loves to hunt! His nose is supurb and he is methodical and stylish in the field. When young he had a vey big running range, however, with age and experience he now matches his pace to our walking style.
Caper
craves training and he made it easy for a novice to work him in the
ring and field. From agility to obedience Caper eagerly takes direction and learns very quickly. He is a 'soft' dog, who thrives on a gentle training touch and lots of positive reinforcement.
Caper is Curry's papa. He has fathered several litters
and has progeny with AKC titles, including Dual Champion. Both he a Curry have been in the conformation ring and have collected points toward their championship. Caper’s album
has puppy photos and shows him working in the field, in the agility
ring, and other snapshots.
